Delete your account.

How to delete your Haypartido account —the Haypartido app for Android (es.haypartido.app) and iPhone, and the website haypartido.es— and what happens to your data afterwards. Haypartido is the brand of Goudplevier Ltd, the controller of your data. You can do it yourself in the app, instantly, or ask us by email if you cannot sign in. The Spanish version of this page prevails in case of discrepancy.

Before you delete it

• It is final: a deleted account cannot be recovered.

• Any Haypartido credit you have not spent is lost with the account. Use it first.

• If you have rented a whole pitch for a date still to come, release it from your «Agenda» (Schedule) tab first: deleting the account does not cancel that booking. If you have already opened spots on that hour, the app will not let you release it: write to hola@haypartido.es before deleting the account. Your spots in games are cancelled automatically (see below).

• If you want a copy of your data, ask hola@haypartido.es first.

• If you own a venue, close the venue first in La Mesa → Tu campo → Tu cuenta. Then you can delete the account.

In the app or on the web: instant

• Sign in to the Haypartido app or to haypartido.es.

• Open Settings: in the app, the cog at the top of the «Tú» (You) tab; on the web, haypartido.es/ajustes.

• Under «Seguridad» (Security), tap «Eliminar mi cuenta» (Delete my account).

• If your account has a password, type it to confirm. If you sign in without one (with your phone, Google or Apple), we do not ask for it.

• Tap «Eliminar definitivamente» (Delete permanently) — in the app, confirm once more. The account is deleted there and then, and you are signed out on every device.

If your account is La Mesa only (a venue account, with no player profile), delete it from La Mesa: open «Tu cuenta» (Your account) and tap «Borrar mi cuenta» (Delete my account).

If you cannot sign in: by email

Write to hola@haypartido.es with the subject «Eliminar cuenta» (Delete account), from your account’s email or telling us the phone number you sign in with. If we need to check the account is yours, we will write to that email or phone for you to confirm; we will not ask for anything else.

We delete the account within 30 days of your request at the latest and tell you when it is done. The deletion is the same as in the app.

What we delete

• Your account data: name, email, phone, date of birth, position, bio, preferences and password (which we only ever store encrypted, as a hash).

• Your profile photos: we delete the file of the current one and of any you had replaced, and ask our content delivery network to drop its copies.

• Who you follow and who follows you, your favourite venues, the people you blocked and your direct messages (sent and received).

• You leave every waiting list.

• Your spots in games not yet played: they are cancelled and go back on sale. What you paid by card goes back to your card in full; what you paid with credit is lost with the account.

• Your customer record at Stripe, which processes payments: your saved cards go with it.

• Notifications on your devices: we stop sending them.

• The Bizum number you added to games you organised.

• Your launch-list signup, if you joined with the same email.

• If you helped manage a venue, that access is withdrawn.

What we keep, and why

• Your past bookings, payments, refunds and receipts. Spanish commercial and tax law requires us to keep them: we keep them for up to 6 years and they no longer belong to any account. Alongside them stays the platform’s activity log, which records what happened and when —for example, that you verified your phone, with the number, or that your account was deleted, under the name it had— and helps us handle claims and prevent fraud.

• If you rented a pitch, the venue still sees that booking in its diary under the name (or phone number) you booked with.

• Games you organised stay for the people who joined them.

• The messages you wrote in game chats stay visible to the people in that game, without your name or photo. Notifications other people already received (for example, that you joined their game) do not change.

• Reports you made, or that were made about your account, because they help protect the community.

• Stripe keeps its own records of your payments, under its legal obligations as a payment institution.

• Your data may remain in our encrypted backups until they overwrite themselves, within 30 days at most. We use them for nothing else.
